Scott Wilson;

Chief Executive Officer, Aquatic Biologist

Mr. Wilson is an innovative thinker who often challenges the status quo. In fifteen years as a professional biologist, he has conducted fish habitat investigations and monitoring from the most remote locations in NU and NT to urban environments like Calgary or Cold Lake AB, and many other sites across western Canada. Scott has been involved in fisheries work for the Oil & Gas, Transportation, Mining, Water Treatment and Power sectors.

Mr. Wilson earned his Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Lethbridge in 2002. Since graduating, he has become a registered member of the Alberta Society of Professional Biologists (2007) and BC College of Applied Biology (2013). Through education, independent learning and on-the-job training, Mr. Wilson has acquired many certifications and technical training, including Standard First Aid, Backpack Electrofishing and Pleasure Craft Operation. These certifications are often required in today’s consulting marketplace. Scott has completed thousands of hours worth of electrofishing, fish and fish habitat assessments, culvert assessments, directional drill monitoring, and other environmental sampling. He stays up to date with the ‘state of the science’ through independent reading and regularly attending fisheries conferences. His broad capabilities and optimistic, winning attitude are key elements in his contribution to a team. For a full professional summary, view his LinkedIn page.

Scott is a doting family man, with two young children and a lovely wife. He enjoys outdoor sports in winter and summer, home renovations, and inner peace.
